Ensure that the adapter is properly seated in the PCI slot. If this error persists, replace the adapter.
0x0000 002B Unable to post adapter, PCI command status included.
Ensure that the adapter is properly seated in the PCI slot. If this error persists, replace the adapter.
0x0000 002C Adapter post on open has failed.
Ensure that the adapter is properly seated in the PCI slot. If this error persists, replace the adapter.
0x0000 0030 The adapter has detected an error,. The action plan is depended on the host status register contents.
0x0000 0051 This error messages is logged in conjunction with error 0x0000 0030, and it contains additional error information related to the error attention from the adapter. The action plan is depended on the host status register contents.
0x0000 0074 A system timer has expired with a Mailbox restart pending,
This may indicate a problem with
  1. the way the mailbox was setup. (device driver issuer, has this problem occurred following an AIX upgrade, contact AIX SAN support.
  2. the adapter firmware (if the problem occurred following a firmware upgrade).
  3. A system slot freeze (check for PCI_RECOVERABLE or PERMANENT errors in the AIX error log. (this is a system slot issue), contact system HW support.
  4. A hardware problem with the adapter, reseat the adapter, if the problem persists, replace the adapter
0x0000 0075 A system timer has expired and an adapter reset has not completed. When an adapter reset has been initiated but does not complete, this may indicate:a problem with the system firmware (did the problem occur during or following firmware upgrade) or an EEH event (is there a an FSC_ERR6 Error code 0x50 or 0x54)
  • If an IPL to the system does not bring the adapter available this may indicate:
    1. A miss-seated adapter
    2. If the problem occurred during firmware upgrade, the firmware may be corrupted and the adapter needs to be replace.
    3. If EEH event, the system slot, system firmware or the adapter may have an issue.

  • If the adapter does become available, this may indicate a problem with the AIX device driver.or system firmware, if the problem occurs again, contact AIX SAN support.
